I got involved when reading the argument at the end of the article--it seems that everyone has an opinion on this, and they're interesting. Some see this as just another marketing tool, and don't want to be seen as a market, while others are mad that Peter Parker is dead (he isn't, though, as this is an alternate universe and he's still alive in the original). I withhold judgement until reading the comic; I want to see a real character with an individual personality, and not a stereotype.
